Good time to go rabbit hunting Central Alberta

I saw a snowshoe hare on my moose hunt this morning and it was still completely brown. It's supposed to be sunny out on Monday, so with all the fresh snow they should be easy to spot. This was near Red Deer. I know most people this time of year could care less about small game, but it would be a good time to go for them.

I usually go right after rifle season is over-less chance of stumbling into someones hunt. you can flush them out by following their runs in the snow too.

Yes Wabbit hunting is anytime .. go hunting and have fun they are brown
