Default 43 1/2 lb coyote.

Shot a 43 1/2 pound coyote this morning that I called in with a hand made rabbit squaller. 12 seconds of calling and 2 minute's of waiting provided this one.

Top dog running on three leg's.

I used a 22-250 with 40 gr bullet's to stop him.

I skinned him and his fur was greasy almost. He had a good thick hide but hardly any good gaurd hair's. His hide was still fairly blue but i have several that are good.

How do you like your 22-250? I'm in the process of buying one. Whats your longest shot on a yote? What kind of scope do you have? Can't wait to get mine.

The gun is a rger 77V with a 3x9 scope and like any tool I get used to using I like it. Longest shot that I hit with this gun would be around the 500 yd mark. Enjoy your gun.

Bassett a buddy makes them and he turn's them in a lathe, makes his own tone boards and reed's.

Somebody musta winged him, before you got him. We once had a three legged dog come on a trail ride. That sucker did 20 miles, no problem.

Nice work! Gr81 I also have a Ruger m77 in 22-250, dropped a coyote last winter at 325yards no problem last year with a 50gr Vmax. I couldn't believe how hard it hit even at that range. Great caliber.
