I'm heading out to fish Diefenbaker with Adam Konrad in a couple of weeks. I could not care less about big pike, although we will be setting out the iFish Pros during parts of the day for large ones. You can look up FishingGeeks on YouTube to get an idea of the potential fish you can catch with them and/or yourself on that body of water. I'm sure there are lots of great lodges up north as well. But you can't beat the access to Dief...heck there's a McDonald's at Elbow.

Cree Lake...if you want fly in. Drive to Tobin, Dief or Lac La Ronge.

Default Tobin

We hit Tobin feb-3-9 my buddy landed 22 lb pike. The slot size there allow these monsters to be enjoyed by others.

We have a cabin up at Cree Lake which is one of many great fly in options in northern Saskatchewan. Whichever one you choose, I would recommend going as early in the season as possible while the pike are still in the shallows/bays. Having a big swell of water come up behind your top water bait will really get the heart pumping!
