Default cooper rifles 6.5x284 & 6.506

Have just discovered cooper sells both in a repeater, has anyone got one in either cal, Are cooper rifles better or not that the newer Sakos (85s),
I know brass is aviable for the 6.5x284, but what about the 6.506? reason I ask is Flying.
I have a 25-06 brass can be necked up, but how easy would it to be mix up rifles/rounds and put a 6.5-06 into a 25-06 chamber? esp as both will be stamped 25-06.
The 06 is bigger but how much in real field terms. noticable or not.
Am setting up a mountian rifle to replace my remington .270 mountian rifle witch has been unreliable one time to many. sutiable for elk, reds, thar, sheep.
Don't want a mangum as don't concider it nessary.
I could use a .270 or .280 but are branching out into reloading, and are just being difficult.
If you have/use either rife or 6.5 cal feel free to advise.

If you are worried, use your left over 270 brass to form your 6.5-06 brass.

I suspect the only way you would get a 6.5/06 into a 25/06 chamber is with a hammer!
