I'll be in the inlet in August. Been heading up there for the last 20yrs and always been worth it for me. As for the fishing, your guess is as good as anyone else's. The fishing at the mouth of the inlet changes from week to week. I like August because the springs and the northern coho are more likely to be in the inlet and the weather is usually better.
The fishing grounds northwest of Legacy are a little newer and seem to produce more springs lately. There is a hog hole to the east of Legacy in the main inlet, pain in the ass to get to, but worth it.
