Default Bull Trout Depths

How deep are you guys finding the bulls this year? Been doing a lot of walking and searching at various depths and coming up with fewer marks than I normally do and am wondering if anyone else is having better success. Do you find later in the ice season is better or pretty consistent throughout?

thanks!!!

I've always found them to be spot on 37 feet. Didn't matter how deep the water was, they always showed up on the fish finder at that depth. Weird

Like most trout I find the best fishing is early ice in December. During that period I fish Lower K in 30-50ft range. From now to March I target depths of 50-80ft and fish the edges along the drop offs to the main lake basin. I generally jig around 6-10ft off bottom and then work up and down the water column every 10min or so. Only been out once this year so far and the marks were within 10ft of bottom.

We fished Upper K on Boxing Day. Had quite a few marks / bites around 70 ft depth. I typically fish 5-10 feet off the bottom and work my up.
