Interesting how no one mentioned how many trucks chased the Hanson buck across fields before he was taken down. I heard a story a truck burnt the tranny doing so. Please Sask boys...tell me I'm wrong...

Not saying Hanson did that before he got him...

I heard the McGarvey buck was shot with a shotgun as well, negative stories spring up as soon as something like that comes out....

If you shoot the monster buck, bull the 'Real Story" will come out eventually. Better follow 'Fair Chase" and good ethics. Just look at last few posts.

Not sure I follow this.
I get the impression that hunting trophy class deer and elk is way more competitive down in those states. The Kiabab in Northern AZ takes like 21 years to draw an antlered mule deer tag.
The Ponsegaunt in Utah like 18 years. These are public lands. I don't think there's a comparison in Alberta, where you can go hunt 200" mule deer off crown land.
I've heard of watering troughs with 20 cameras set up around them.
There's money on the line!

Default Cam

We thought about cell cams.. I agree with most.. It's only a matter of time and we won't be able to use them...
I personally like the reg cams we have. (when they work Ha)
It's an excuse to go for a hike or 3 in off season..

I wonder if most of you would have the same moot opinions about this if they where banning ultra high definition and sides scan sonars. Pretty much the same argument could be made there it’s unfair for the fish, especially sturgeon in the rivers. So many cannibals in the outdoor sports we seen it with the rifle ban as well.

I know a good portion of the BC sturgeon guides would go tits up without their imager. It made it so anyone could cover the river looking for big fish

Maybe there will be zones where certain electronic equipment will be
