Well, I was a bit nervous that the Flames might have to play the Oilers in the playoffs, but not since before Christmas when it was obvious the Oilers weren't getting out of the cellar this year. Again.

3-1 for Colorado.... oops!
LA plays tonight as well against the coyotes I think. That should be a definite loss for LA .

I forget how many times the Flames didn't make the playoffs in the last 21 years, oh right 13 I believe. No worries the Oilers will tie that stat shortly.

Yeah, Stars lost, and LA is down 2-0. Keep hoping for no Alberta team in the playoffs. If it makes you and boah feel better.

At this point in the season, it would probably be ok to switch from KY to Preperation H. May help with the bleeding.

Back to the game......
Smith looked good and hope he stay injury free. Team played fairly desperate hockey. Sticking up for Smith as opposed to having him do it himself showed heart. You missed Thachuk as there was absolutely no one in Talbots grill tonight. Though it was nice to watch a Flames games without seeing him chew on that mouth guard. They need to play for the "win" for the full 60 minutes. In the 2nd and 3rd it looked like they were playing "not to lose." Chances were about even but Smith's saves were tougher than Talbots. Good game overall.... finally.
