Default Can’t find hunter education.Could that affect draw priorities?

Pretty basic question I challenged the test in grade 11 or 12 I had the card for years.I called all sources and the number can’t be located as they never kept records back then.24 or 25 years ago. Anyways I’m bored so I was thinking about doing the online course just for ****s.Will that ruin my priorities if they ever look into things like that?Or is it not something I need because of time limits and the lack of record keeping back then.

Nope, you don’t need hunter education to put in for the draw.
Only to pull the licence, if you’ve been good this long it probably won’t change.

Nope, your priorities are linked to your WIN number

The problem you are thinking of was people not reading instructions when signing up for the online profile, a lot of them created a new WIN number.

The only reason to re-do the course is if you wanted to hunt in Hawaii. If you move somewhere, most jurisdictions require you to do their course.

If you held a hunting licence in Alberta or anywhere, prior to April 1, 2010. You do not require to have to take the course.

From the Regs:

A first-time hunter is a hunter who 1) has not previously held a hunting licence in Alberta or elsewhere, or 2) has not prior to April 1, 2010, met Alberta first-time hunter criteria, or 3) has not successfully completed a hunter education course in Alberta or elsewhere.
