Default Elk hunt question

Me and a friend are going out next weekend for 3days to try and get one each if one at all.

We are looking at 412/414

Anyone know if this is a waste of time or a better place to start open for rifle

We also have bear tags and both buck tags

Any helpful input would be magical .

The 400 zones are tough for calling in a bull. I'm not familiar with those particular zones however I've been frequenting 402,404 and 406 and although seeing a lot of sign haven't seen or heard from the elk. There are a over abundance of predators in these zones which leads me to believe it has the elk pretty tight lipped. Good luck

Good luck, we have 3 elk bulls and 2 does but we have just stumbled on them. They aren't coming in for any calls.

It's been a good trip for our camp but I'm still trying to fill my cow tag.

Good luck to all.
