Default Welding shell casings together?

I'm working on a display and want to weld or solder to shell casings together. Figured on having one standing and the other laying beside it.
Anyone done something like this?

Solder will stick to brass, just make sure it's clean

You could solder or braze them but there is a good chance they will discolor and warp from the heat. You may be better off with hidden rivets or even an epoxy.

Clear gorilla glue may be your best bet.

X2 used on a similar project and that stuff really sticks. And being clear it doesn't show anything.

Thanks guys. I was worried about soldering it and discoloration. I'll give gorilla glue a try.

Thanks again
