Default fish skin

My buddy landed his PB pike, I skinned it...brain tanned and made hi a knife case.

I have always wondered if that was possible.
I figure burbot skin wallets would be a big seller.
Did you use the fish brain to tan it?

That's pretty cool. I heard about the guy in MB that makes wallets out of tanned walleye skins. First I've seen tanned pike. Nice work.

Can you tell us the prosesses of brain tanning fish? I would really like to do a burbot I can’t find any info anywhere except that they tan burbot in Norway.

Very interesting... I've never heard of Alberta fresh water fish being tanned. I'd like to learn how too.
Shirt and pants in Tiger Trout camo pattern would be my choice.

I was always told:
"Every creature that walks the Earth has enough brain to tan it's own hide. The exception being Liberal voters."

Not sure about the swimmers, though.
