Default Free trade bill

With the NDP and Bloc not happy with the trade deal that was presented today the Liberals will need the Conservatives help to pass the bill. Maybe they should suggest the Liberals drop their firearms agenda in order to get support.

Doubt it. The Liberals were originally adamantly against NAFTA, it was the main issue in the 1988 election. Chretien promised to cancel it in 1993.
I'd bet Trudeau would continue to pander to his voting base re: gun control, and blame the Opposition parties if the trade agreement fails.

If it does not pass the blame will be on the opposition as he requires there support to get it passed. The Liberals cannot pass it by themselves. It is a big ticket item for the Liberals so it makes a good bargaining chip. Wait and see. The NDP will want pharma care for their support. The Bloc will most certainly want something.
