CRAZY.. And who decided putting Coboys Casino beside the Dome was a good idea.. HOLY crap. Between Smith, the Sadledome heroin beer and Cowboys I now have to go get my truck sometime tomorrow.
For the record, Smith didn't come back on the bench for the 3rd. Is he ok?
Anyhow, I have a parade to plan for the stanley cup we apparently won tonight.
I enjoyed tonight with a Philly fan, man was she ****ed off. LOLOLOLOLOL
That sounds awesome... wish I had been there! I dont see anything on Smith yet.

The way the news was reporting this morning it sounded like he pulled himself, told the coaches he was off last night.

Smith surrendered 4 goals on 13 shots...he should have pulled himself then (since Peters didn't do it).

I wondered if that was the case as there was no indication of an injury, and that last goal he let in was unbelievably bad. Kelly Hrudy was almost speechless.

Apparently, Smith is having trouble with the new chest pad size (smaller), letting squeakers in between the inner arm and his chest...that's exactly what happened with that goal. I'm not sure that dog's gonna hunt.

We could trade you Talbot and Yamo for Brodie? You guys could have Johnny , Yamo, and Foo on a line and call them the "Heavy Weights!"

I've heard that as well. But they are smaller for every goalie in the league. Get it figured out man. I gotta think there is more going on that just that.

And what completely baffles me, is I thought Peters pulled him, but no, apparently Rittich started because Smith was hurt. I would really like to know what Smith has on Peters. I also wonder if he shared it with Ryan and Neal. How on earth are those two guys on the 2nd PP unit?

Good question. I am so underwhelmed with Ryan and Neal....-4? Neal needs to spend some quality time in Stockton.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet Peters did pull him but gave an excuse so Smith could save face OR Smith made an excuse acting hurt...I keep expecting Ryan and Neal to suddenly wake up...if they did we would be a real powerhouse but, as time ticks on, I'm getting more and more skeptical.

You'd give that much credit to a man who has given Smith, with his .888 SV%, 20 starts vs 16 starts for Rittich and his .921 SA%?

Smith is out for a bit. Sent for Gillies out of Stockton.

I honestly don't know if Smith is physically hurt. I have yet to see the replay on that last goal. Anyone have a link?

Darn. Means I have to miss Sunday's game, there is a protest scheduled in support of Oil/energy/pipelines, MP Chris Warkentin is speaking, I heard Kenney may be here as well. It's my first protest, not sure on etiquette...do I wear black bandana around my face, dark goggles, throw rocks and molotov coctails? I may have to ask some of the hipster kids....

Ha sounds like an Oiler crowd when things go south.
Good for you, worthy of a miss.

Just read Backland is traveling with the team this weekend.

And Chucky starts things early, going after Dumbha for his hit on his partner Backlund last game. More of a wrestling match, not much thrown but point of honor I suppose.

Rittich fantastic in net early, great pad save on the 2 on 1 play! Flames need to stop giving those up!

Game has great intensity.

But they really need to be disciplined and not take penalties, Wild pp is wicked...though I'm glad Koivu and Zucker are out today.

Hey! Flames are the only team with 5 players over 30 points! Gio needs to win Norris this year.
