Suffield elk hunt

I was just wondering if it is still worthwhile applying for a bull elk or a cow elk on the base? Are the elk only staying in the NWA zone up in the NE area. I am an old senior now and that drag out is getting harder and harder. Any other changes happening out there, I have not been there for about 5 or 6 years.

Hunted Suffield in January we didn't a single Elk outside of the NWA however a few elk we're taken outside the NWA we just didn't see any.
