Are you looking for loaded ammunition recommendations, or reloading information?

synthetic stock blued action
22 inch barrel. 1 in 9.5 twist

I know....I checked the Ruger website and that caliber is not listed, nor is the combination of synthetic with a blued action
Got it coming from Prophet River Firearms

4350 or 4831
139-160 gr.
Bullets designed for hunting mind you.
I'm partial to Hornady bullets.

My 280 likes the 150 LRAB's with H4350. H4831 also worked well.

I love the coopers but wanted something a bit cheaper. Heading in this afternoon to look them over. Apparently streets closed of today for a summer festival. Anybody been to Prophet this morning to know if its hard to get there?

Blacktail, I have a Browning X-Bolt in 280. Each gun is different but mine is having great success with 160 grain bullets. If you can find RL-19 that has been a cherry load but hard to come by. I re-worked a second load that is comparable by using Hodgdon's 4831. Accubonds and Partitions have proven to be accurate. For less expensive shooting I was pleasantly surprised by the Speer Deep Curl.
