I heard the narrows has 4-5 inches already. Easy place to walk out and fish. That place has a curse on me so I wish you good luck!

The Narrows has a current though so ice thickness can change abruptly over small distances, seems like a dangerous place to fish. With this cold snap imminent, the entire lake should have good ice soon.

Shore fished the Narrows for the first time this past spring and had a good time. We don't have a boat, so I'm. Looking forward to walking out on to the main lake and exploring a bit this winter...

18" measured at scenic
18" measured at Rochon sand

Fishing was good yesterday managed 12 pike and two large burbot. Bite was best from 1:30-3:30.

No snow at all on lake, bring skates or some kind of traction aid, don't need anyone taking a nasty spill before christmas
