Default Info on a BSA .243

Hi there, I have a BSA .243 with a heavy barrel. I'm not sure what style it is or even what it is worth.

If someone could help that would be great.

A closeup of the action would help but it looks like a CF-2

Thanks for the reply.

Are they worth anything?

They are a nice solid rifle. If it is not shot out, I would not part with it for a penny less than $700.00 without scope and rings. I may even start pricing at $800.00 to leave a bit of negotiating room.

Not a lot of info on BSA rifles. I just purchased one in 30.06 and may be looking for a new home for it. Haven't got it in my hands yet but a guy dropped it off at my friend place and left(I already sent him the money) it was supposed to be a Rem 700 action and turns out it's a BSA in 30.06.

Ohh big surprise. He's not answering his texts now.😡 Doing some emailing and trying to find more about it before I decide to sell or keep it. Very smooth action. The little I have found is all good so far.

I would say you got lucky in a way.
To bad buddy was such a decitful a hole but I would take a BSA in good shape over a rem 700 any day.

The scope mounts on the CF2 are the same as the Rem 700 so maybe there was some confusion there???
