Got mine this week, nice to have some marten at $100, but sure hurt to have some go for $25. Also heavy fox at $23 and large Fisher at $23 can be alittle discouraging.

On the down side we had a $84.00 marten, but on the upside we had a 39 cent and a 26 cent squirrel. Two squirrels and a marten we shipped last year but they didn't sell then. We held everything back but 19 coyotes this year. We only got 14 marten but most are very large and very dark in color. Just couldn't ship them at the prices this year.
Stay safe and pray for rain.

Default Coyote lots

For all the guys that were concerned about the string of low priced coyote lots...have a look at your slips you got in the mail with a more detailed grade. I had one in that string of lots, it was graded as rubbed. Surprised we got that much for them.

I sent 62 coyotes to that sale... 24 of them got graded as rubbed or semi or damaged! Every one of these dogs were snared between Dec 10th and Jan 31st, all put up by the same guy, all caught in the same places... to my eye i had 3 in the bunch that were crap never should have been shipped but other than that .... there is no way you will ever convince me over a third of my coyotes were sh*t ... no way!

On a side note i shipped one for a buddy.... he shot it in 1982 put it up and hung it in his quanset on the farm, he didnt want it anymore so asked if i would send it. I kept it separate for him .... the thing was yellow, no guard hair anymore just fuzzy piece of crap. It was graded as a II med 1-4 and sold for $80 ... now you tell me there isn't something wrong with the system.

I think Jan sale is the best 1 that's where there's demand so that's the only sale I'm shipping from now on

I would say so , but if thats what it takes to clear the market .. GET ER DONE !! I have a total of 4 rats left to sell so it wont effect me. Glad my coyotes are all gone , this sale could be interesting .
