Default Information on Majeau Lake

We are considering leasing and possibly buying a lot at Majeau Lake. I have been doing research all day trying to find out if there are fish in that lake; what kind, what is the limit, etc. There is no information anywhere after 2003, saying what the lake is like. Can anybody help me out with this?

Don't know anything about it myself, but found this thread from 2014. Hope it helps.

Well I phoned F&W and left a message for the biologist that can maybe give me some definitive answers. The threads that I read about this lake this morning on here, never helped. One guy said it was a mosquito haven, and the others said that they were gonna check it out. All of the research I did with this lake, never really spoke of Majeau Lake.. but about the creek that runs to Lac La Nonne. They made alot of headway apparently in 2006-2007 with the water and making sure that the land was sorta revamped to try to contain the contamination from livestock or agriculture. But since 2007 no posts.

Yes I read this earlier but it is old information. Things may have changed since then. But thanks for your help. If you find anything else, could you please let me know

It is a large shallow slough that would winter kill very easily if there ever was a fish in it.

My friend has a place out there and I am pretty sure he told me the lake is dead. I'll ask him tomorrow what and how he knows
