How much would it fetch as a dried pelt sold at auction? $30 maybe
How much would you pay to buy a tanned hide? $150-200 would be my guess.

I got $28 for one larger red fox pelt last year. Smaller ones go for much less these days.

Nice to bad they were worth more do you have lots down there here all I have caught was just three in all the years I have been trapping still want to get one more to tan my self to go in my collection do you get and bobcats ?

They real are nice once they are tanned. Pity a trapper does not get more for a dried pelt.

Have taken 3 bobcats in the space of 42 years , Id say they arent plentiful ..lol . First was made into rug and still hangs on the wall , second went to auction in mid eighties $200 if I recall correctly . Last one is full mount on the wall . I was sending my furs to FHA at the time and the local depot had 2 others go to sale the same week this one would have . After the sale the depot owner said the cats went for over $700 each .
