Default Dead Beavers

According to what I have been told , apparently dead beavers are supposed to be scary for ones around them , But I have never found this to be so , perhaps I have brave beavers ? But tonight on a nuisance job , I shot one and placed it in a life like position on the bank and ended shooting two more that came in to inspect. Had I not been soaked to the belly button , I could have stayed and shot at some more but darn it it was cold!

Dont know how scared live ones are of dead ones , but seems strange how you can shoot one and have another show up with in seconds of the shot .

H 380 , No they did not show up within seconds of the shot LOL .
second shot was about 30 minutes from first , and so on for the third.
H They are incredibly curious , THAT is what breaks the camels back every time,

Andrew, the trapper in THEWILDNORTH on YouTube, has a good video from his game cam. It shows several beaver (and otter) inspect a 330 and leave. Then one gets caught. A subsequent beaver approaches and as soon as it finds the dead beaver, it dashes back into the water at full speed. The video ends with another adult beaver just hanging around the trapped one.

Interesting piece of trapping knowledge.
