Default Imagine AO as the Black Pearl.

Ever imagine that the AO forum could be thought of as a great clipper ship, the mods would be the captain's,they would make you walk the plank,or leave you on some dessert island,or be banned all together. And of course all the other members would be shipmates. We have everything we need to set sail, doctors, lawyers, Indian chiefs, carpenter's,plumbers, electricians, just to name a few.what would everyone be doing and where would they be? On the bridge? In the galley?in the focsal ?up in the rigging? I myself would probably be scrubbing the poop deck cause it would get pretty slippery there when the wind starts blowing, and believe me it can be nasty on times.let the flogging begin and no I'm not using Mariguana lol.

I'd lead a muninty.
And probably shortly after be mutinied myself.
I don't think the ship would go far, due to the constant disagreement.

I'm a plumber but I don't know why sailors call one level of the vessel the poop deck

I do think it would be cool to be on the engineering team on a large vessel though. When you need things to work, its on you.

I always thought of AO like being in a life raft, turn your head for a second and hey where'd Joe go? Never heard from again

I'd sign up to be in charge of witty come backs and sarcastic commentary. I've had years of practice as a Construction Superintendent & General Contractor.

Forty lashes with the cat and nine tails, and thrown in the brig until we get to the next port. Captain! Captain! This sailor is talking mutiny lol.

On second thought I'm recollecting the relative lack of the fairer sex among AO members, I'd rather avoid this type of thing developing while far out to sea ---> : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmGuy0jievs

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I think such a ship would have a bartender, might as well name him Isaac. He should also know how to mix a mean mojito, and how NOT to offend vertically-challenged, yet sensitive weightlifters.

I’ll volunteer to be a gunner. I’m a firm believe of recoil therapy and burnt gunpowder.

There's a captain on here with a wooden leg and he only comes out at night and you can hear him on the upper deck chomping around nobody seems to know who this guy or wench is, some say he's searching for a great white horse,or was it a cow,I can't remember.
