Range near Canmore

Does anyone know of a range in the area or is the closest one in Calgary?

I believe there is one right across the highway from Dead Mans Flats. I have heard that it is hard to get into though and might be closing down as their lease expires soon.
This is all second hand information though so not sure on how reliable it is.

The Pigeon Mountain range is quite nice. I'm not a member but have visited it before. When I was there, the CF was limited to about 110 yards if I remember correctly. It's not easy to become a member and being a member costs a few hundred dollars and some community service at the range if I have been informed correctly.

If you're looking for some bow range, just find some crown land nearby that isn't Provincial Park. There's some out there. If you're looking for the occasional long range rifle, 316 isn't too far away, just find a safe back drop and take a table.

I have been told that this range was closed down due to noise complaints or something
