Default Mine took months

I mailed my application early to mid May and got it just in time for opening day for waterfowl. Takes months and if you phone to ask they give no timeline or status.

How did you make sure to match the size needed as it would not take mine.

I was thinking of doing the same, but didn't want to be rejected. Takes long enough for starters.
Walk in to a Costco.
Say need a pic for my PAL.

Done. Well the easy part anyways...

Did mine online nov 7th, I just checked now and it says it has been issued and to let them know if I have not seen it in two weeks time, sounds pretty good.

That’s pretty good. I filed mine Oct 10 and nothing has changed since Oct 12.

Default Pal

If you have one or two ex wives that do not love you anymore may take a few more months.

Thumbs up Pal renewal

Okay, a follow up to my renewal.

Applied Online Nov 7th, I got it today Nov 27 in the mail, so 20 days is not bad.

Applied for RPAL renewal on line Nov 1, had the card in my hands Nov 19. I thought that was very fast given the state of Canada Post.

My son in law waited almost five months for his first PAL this spring.

Got the RPAL Dec 28th in the mail.

Nov 4 to Dec 28 is not too bad in my books. But I wasn't in a rush.

How do I do the ATT now.... just go to store and it gets issued when I buy the first restricted?

My last renewal took five weeks, and there was a brief mail strike. I applied in early November, and received my PAL mid December.

A young fellow I know, applied for his first RPAL, first ever PAL, in late August of this year, he just received it in the mail about 2 weeks back, so about 3.5 months. He used two current RPAL holders for references, and I went over his application prior to him sending it off(no errors), neither references were contacted either.

Mine expires in at the end of December. Does anyone know how early it's possible to start the renewal? All the website says is 'Eligible individuals have a valid PAL that is about to expire...' What does that mean? I'd love to get it done super early if possible to avoid any period of time without one.

As long as your PAL expires within one year, you can apply to renew, I always apply at least six months before my PAL expires, and my PAL has been within two weeks of expiring before I received my new PAL.

My quickest was less than 3 weeks, the longest was 5-1/2 months.

Default less than 2 weeks

I renewed my RPAL earlier this year using the online method. Took less than 2 weeks and I had my new card in the mail...pretty impressed.
