Default Taking Beavers fishing

Hi All,
Not looking for any honey holes.....but will be taking a group of Beavers/Cubs ice fishing next month, and I'm looking for suggestions for a lake within 1 hour of Edmonton that will allow them to catch a fish.....maybe a lake with lots of stunted Perch.
I am thinking maybe Spring, Cardiff, Hasse, both Morinville ponds? I have not fished these lakes for years so maybe they are not good anymore. Looking for any suggestions and would appreciate any info.
Thanks for any info.
