Default P. A. L renewal question

My pal expires in one year. With way everything is right now should I just renew now? Iv never renewed before. I looked on the RCMP site for online renewal seems easy.
So just wondering do it early or wait 6 more months till I'm at 4.5 years says expires 2021.03.27

I just did mine 3 weeks ago. It is now in limbo, as they are closed down. You can still fill out the online renewal, but nothing will happen. Plus, you can’t fill out the online renewal until your <6 months to your expiry date.t

You can apply up to a year in advance, and with the current situation, I would be applying now, as the backlog could grow considerably.

Default Renewal

You can renew early. Mine was to expire Oct 2020. I received my new one last week after applying online. Tip- don't use the same picture that you used 5 years ago. They sent me a letter for an updated picture.

Mine set to expire end of June. Did the on line application in Mid February and 2 weeks ago received the letter asking for range membership. Faxed it in, followed up with email, and still haven't heard or saw a thing.

Anyways, these days not expecting anything to happen quickly if at all.

I’ve found the fax number is next to useless.
Email a picture of your membership laid out on top of the letter they sent you.
That way the reference number is nice and handy.

You’ll get a read receipt too.
