Default 5.6 millon for a scating rink!!

https://globalnews.ca/news/3828605/p...-skating-rink/

A 5.6 million dollar skating rink for 2 months on Parliament hill what are these Libtards thinking.

A new permanent arena is probably just around 7 million , depends on how fancy you want it to be.

Gee, I wonder if the contractors who are overpaid to build it have ever made significant donations to the Liberal Party? .......... I don't even need to check to know the answer. Good thing there's so much surplus money to toss around!

Default Rink

My guess is that Justin didn't have one in his back yard as a kid. Pierre couldn't squeeze the funds out of the west back then!

Well at least they got a good bargain on it. That's barely half what a terrorist is getting paid nowadays, and it's really wholesome family fun.

I know there are a lot incedental costs there but that # seems so high.
I work for a company that builds dasher boards.
I wonder if it is refrigerated? Excluding cooling, I could see us building a regulation set of boards and a decent bleacher system (installed in Ottawa) for no more than $250,000 probably closer to $200,000. The boards could then have been donated to a community in need that would lay them 20 years or so.
Absolutely ridiculous!

Before the libs were elected they were broke. This is just basic money laundering to fill their coffers for the next election which I pray to allah they'll lose.

From the web page

"People who want to skate on the rink will need to reserve tickets online two days in advance, and public skating sessions will last 40 minutes. No hockey sticks, pucks, food, figure skating or games like tag and races will be allowed during these sessions"

...sounds like a blast.

it breaks down to about $215,000 per day...unreal.

Hmmmm $5,600,000....let's do the math.

32 peewee hockey teams * 25 players/coaches per team * $2000 per flight/accommodations/food = $1,600,000

Wages and donuts for the off duty RCMP members to perform private security = $900,000

Cost of rink...$100,000

2 Members of Parliament to oversee it all.....$3,000,000

Funny, only time I have ever heard Turdo say he was gonna save me money is when he was paying 10.5 to a terrorist. Par for the course when you are born with your face in the trough

Maybe JT will bring back the $200,000.00 yellow rubber duck to watch over the frozen pond so that no one thinks about having a shinny game.

I've got a hot tub. You're welcome to use it anytime as long as you bring the supermodels. Just give me a little notice so I can get the wife outta the house.
