Default Advisory on CZ product purchase

There is a disconnect between CZ and the warranty center for Canada.

It seems that this has happened in the past with the previous approved warranty location as well.

If you want to hear and find out the details of whats going on then give the present warranty center a call who has now broken off with CZ for lack of payment.

I'm mentioning this on here so that buyers of CZ products are informed before they purchase; I was one of the many affected by this.

PRESENT CANADA CZ WARRANTY is Gretch Outdoors at 519-509-4867

I hope my 527 never has issues or needs parts. The CZ warrenty center has moved from DLASK, to Gretch and now to wolverine. I hope wolverine can offer better service on CZ products.. Something tells me the problem is on CZs side not the actual repair center.

There's probably more to this story ..... and to be clear, I don't have inside knowledge about this particular issue/relationship BUT

I do know that sometimes manufacturers pay a flat rate for warranty to the local warranty service provider/retailer.

Often there are disputes with how much they are liable for, what they expect to get paid and/or a disconnect between what the retailer/servicer is billing for versus what the manufacturer wants to pay.

Interesting nonetheless

There is always more to any story.
I'm not in the habit of posting and especially making the kind of post that I did but I stand by it because of the history of CZ and the different warranty centers in a short time frame should be questioned.
Turns out that Wolverine will be the new warranty center and that it will assume the warranty work; I gave them a call and asked about it. February 01/18.

There is a thread about this on canadiangunnutz where many that have been in warrenty purgatory and the owner of Wolverine contribute to the discussion.

I am very close to picking up a CZ .22 and my only hesitation is the warranty debacle.

Don't know which firearms this affects, but...
