Media (CBS) took some liberties and reported prematurely. Although it isn't looking good, he's still alive but may have been taken off of life support.

Coroner says accidental.

Accidentally ingested the following: fentanyl, oxycodone, emazepam, alprazolam, citalopram, acetyl fentanyl, and despropionyl fentanyl.

Yes, standard get up in the morning, open the medicine cabinet, brush your teeth type of stuff. Daily occurrence in most homes in Alberta.

Actually he had a broken hip that he just did 52 shows on a world tour ,and he took to many pills for the pain ,Don't think he was a junkie many people die mixing the wrong pills.

Those drugs are all opioids and synthetic opioids, most administered via patch due to potency.

Worst part of the bodies metabolism is eventually it gets so used to them the amount needed to numb pain would kill most first timers.

They may turn to his doctors for partial blame as using that many at the same time would not be advised!
