Default Info on old fishing metal rod

I am curious if anyone has any idea how old this rod is and if it has any value to a collector.

Thanks wayne

There's one just like it on Ebay Canada. Keep an eye on the final price and it will give you an idea what it is worth. It always depends on how many buyers want it.

I'd be putting that one in the bottom of the boat if any clouds floated over the lake!

You got any better pic's, mostly without the shadow's. I got one very similiar to this but has both the knobs on the handle. Wanna buy mine so you'll have a pair?

Not sure I'd let it go for $20.
Are you in or close to lethbridge? Maybe we can make a deal.

God I hated those things!
My uncle had one and I usually caught more fish than him using a willow pole and a piece of string.
I wouldn't go any higher than $5 bucks.

To answer your original question unfortunatly its not one that that has value to a real collector. Steel rods don't go for much at all, nor does the reel shown. Looks to be a 50"s and can be nice for decor, or valued as a family heirloom alone.

By the way with all collectables its all condition, condition, condition. Pristine rods and reels by a well known maker in the box with original instructions, rods with tubes etc. the way they where new are the ones worth more. Beat up stuff not so much.
