Default New system to try out

I kind of like this idea.

Only thing I see that might be an improvement of Martys system is one piece construction .Other than that really nothing different .

Kinda thought you were baiting me on the other thread.

Remains to be seen if his spring is good. As well if it's patentable or not, I suspect not. There is a "science" to triggers and springs and release points, etc. We will see if he's achieved that.

Nope not baiting at all. I am skeptical of this one for quality and ease of trigger release but love the concept.
I think you have a lot to teach Marty and sometimes it seems you would rather not get involved that way. For a lot of the trappers who have been around for a while there might not be much to teach but there are a lot of young trappers out there that the only way info is passed along is when someone opens their mouth to share it which I think we sure could do a lot better on these forums. The other side is it may give anti's some power in what is said or done in the process of learning and mistakes made along the way.....

Reinventing the wheel? They added another step with hammering the Spring eyelet closed. Nah.

I've never used the killing springs and am curious how much more effective they are from the regular amberg or cam loc in kill time. I realize this is not an exact science but after a few years of use there should be some good opinions.
