I bought one last year, great reel, got the large arbour Trout 5/7...I engaged with the webchat feature on their site with some questions and the answers came live from their head of product design...told me they were a small US based company with the reel parts currently manufactured offshore and assembled in Texas I think but they are based in Washington State...high quality reel for mid price point...
For a lower priced reel they're pretty good, I'd say they're comparable to the Okuma Helios. My buddy has an Alpha 2 and an Alpha 3 and loves them. Plus they come in some pretty sweet colours.
