Default Spfga membership renewals - 2018

Getting questions ... so asked ... SPFGA Membership Chair wishes to advise current Regular and Range Members to expect their 2018 renewal notice by the end of September. And, that all renewals are now being outsourced to ManageWise who will handle all related queries. Contact information will be included with the renewal notice.

Got my renewal notice today so assume most are now in the mail. Early submission gives some breathing room for processing so members are encouraged to respond in a timely manner and not risk missing the boat by leaving their priority renewal past the Dec 15 deadline.

Reminder for current Range Members that the deadline for taking advantage of “priority status” for renewal is Dec 15th. If you have questions, check the website homepage (spfga.org) for contact information.
Applications for prospective RANGE members will be available on the website Dec 1, but will not be accepted prior to 0001 hrs on Jan 1st. Best advice for newbie prospects is to have the app ready and hit “send” shortly after midnight. At this time there is no way to know how many newbie applications will be successful. Successful applicants will be required to attend an on-site orientation to receive their access/Membership cards. Orientation schedule details will be provided to successful applicants by the end of January.

Default When to expect the new cards

I received my receipt for 2018 membership on Oct 6th. But haven't received my new membership card yet. Does anyone know if they have been mailed out.

I received my e-mail confirmation of renewal in October as well. The system works well if people don't wait until the last minute to renew.

I got my 2018 letter and renewal sticker for the card about 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunately, the renewal sticker shows an expiry date of 12/31/2017 instead of 12/31/2018 as it should.

Two bits of information.
First to confirm that the “renewal” sticker is your Alberta Fish And Game Membership ... and is not your SPFGA renewal. The fact they are sending them out at this time has been resulting in lots of phone calls which slows down our processing. EDIT: I don’t know why they are being mailed by AFGA at this time. Perhaps it is related to the portion of your SPFGA Membership that goes to AFGA? You do get insurance benefits through AFGA.

Second, SPFGA “RANGE” renewals are scheduled to be mailed about mid December. No need to call. Just be patient.
