My definition of "fun" is that it's something that gives me pleasure. Makes me smile. Makes me laugh. Taking a life doesn't do that for me.

Is taking the life of an animal "fun" for you?

As for "sport". I quickly googled "define sport" and got this:

https://www.google.com/search?q=defi...hrome&ie=UTF-8

which aligns with my personal feelings. When I'm hunting I'm not competing against anybody else and I sure as heck don't do it for somebody else's entertainment.

Perhaps your definitions of "fun" and "sport" differ from mine and that's fine. But to reiterate, by my definitions, no, I don't know anybody who considers hunting "fun" or a "sport".

No truer words have been written.
This brings back a memory to a debate I had with a lady who had a masters degree in sociology. She was very educated and had a very good job, but also had the belief that meat was manufactured in a grocery store.
It is amazing that people can spend 8 years in university and be totally oblivious to where their food comes from.
It is honestly concerning.

I thought about responding to that letter, but didn't because A: from Alberta and it would just ruffle feathers, and B: because I would try to ruffle feathers. I'm not really very PC.

Luckily, somebody with credibility wrote an excellent response!
