Thumbs down Hard Core Poaching

A buddy from quebec,emailed me this picture that was taken in michagan this fall.The fish cops took the photo of all these poached whitetail bucks after they caught the guys.Such small antlered deer?

I cant remember where these bucks got shot, Illinois? It was sent to me by a client i guided. The word in the woods is that all these bucks where shot in a one day season within 1mile of the farm house

Another theory is that these pictures have been floating around for years. If it had a 2009 Chev rather than a 1984 I would be more suspicious.

Umm..there are over 800,000 whitetails in Illinois, a state less than 1/4 the size of alberta. Do you really think they're hurting for deer?

I heard the picture was taken on PEI. Soon enough there won't be any deer left on the island.

Just to save some of you reading the whole thing. I've read about this on a couple forums.

These were shot on a island in michigan where they have a massive deer population. All deer were shot with tags. Some weren't tagged instantly, so there were some fines given out for not tagging a deer right away. But there were tags to cover each deer shot.
