That's a friend of mine Lil Jay, I will message him on facebook and get some details from him! Awesome deer, he lives in Grande Prairie, I know that for sure, haven't talked to him in a couple of years. One hell of a nice buck, think he's my new best friend ha ha. Not too shabby for a newfie!!!!

Hell of a deer hey, I shot it on the 28th of August the date in the camera was wrong, my buddy didn't change it to the right date. I will be getting it scored in Oct, and I'll post the score then. It was a great day for me, we got it on video to. I'll post somemore pic's later.

That thing is a monster,I say 192 typical, curious to here more about the story.Someone was wondering about a record in velvet.Yes they have a P/Y catigory for velvet whitetails. The reason i know this for 100% sure is my buddy shot the record out of my stand 2 years ago.It scored 204 3/8 net nt.
Which at the time was the alberta record for wt in velvet with a bow.Heres a pic if you havnt seen it yet.

Default Peace river hog score

The score is in 195 2/8 Gross and 178 4/8 net, hahahaha. Is that the new record for typical whitetail in velvet for Alberta?????? The old record is 167 or that's what's in the record's now.

I'm not try to be inflammatory in any way. I got these pictures, like any other hundreds of forwarded hunting pictures, through email, and I don't know any of the circumstances and I am just wondering if anyone does.
