I find them in streams.

Hit up the athabasca river around hinton and jasper and all tributaries running in when open for some monsters! I've nailed numerous big boys over the years and they seem plentiful in this area.

...other than all the fantastic rivers in Central Alberta - April 1.

I've caught all my bulls on a red Blade Dancer in the Clearwater. Moving to fly fishing this year, and am thinking big white streamers.

Cheers

good thing you've got some now

try the ones with the red eyes, and also try the pink and white ones, but you'll probably need some split shot for them.

If you go with fish gunner he probably knows more about bulls than I do.

Yes sir I am so excited. I had them out the other day admiring your fine work, thinking how nice it'll be to let you know the monsters I've landed with your flies! The one with the red eyes is the one I told my buddy was gonna be my meal ticket for bulls

A group of friends and I hit the Clearwater every year the first available weekend after April 1 and the last available weekend before it shuts down. The fly guys haven't been very successful yet, so this has to be the year!

Cheers
