Default Belly boat modification/sewing

Anybody around Calgary that does modifications on belly boats? My Dad and I have the same model but about 2 years different in age. They have moved the seat back in mine and it's causing me to slide forward, giving me some back pain at the end of a good float. I need to someone to modify the seat so it sits a little further forward.

I have had good luck using shoe repair guys for repairs to nylons straps, nets, wading boots. They are used to dealing with all kinds of different materials and have the right sewing equipment for the different materials. Very, very reasonable pricing as well. Definitely the place to start and get an estimate.

Just speculating here, but there are a few upholstery repair places here in town - I wonder if they could help you out?

Took mine to a dressmaker shop when "someone" left it out in the sun and it popped the seams.
Did a nice job and still useable.
