Default Shrimp

Yesterday I went up to Gull Lake for the last time this season before they closed. I managed to catch four whitefish.

After I was done cleaning them I was wondering what they ate so I can try to figure out how better to attract them for next season.

What I found in the stomachs were small shrimp, and some of them were still alive!

Anyone know how big these get? The biggest ones I found were about 1.5cm

Those are called scuds, they are in nearly all lakes and rivers in Alberta. They won't get bigger than what you see there.
