Default Lost bolt

I have managed to loose the bolt in my .17 Remington caliber tikka rifle it is a model 595 I have been told a 222 or a 223 would have the same bolt if anyone knows of a gun wrecker where i might be able to replace this would be greatly appreciated.

Replacement bolt should be easy enough to get but as I am sure you know, you will need to check the headspace. Tikka are built to tight specs so you will most likely find the replacement bolt is just fine for headspace, if not you will need to take it in to be fitted. These issue is, replacement bolts tend to be very expensive for a new part so finding a used one would definitely be advantageous. No idea though where you would look for that.

Default Lost bolt

Yeah my only option is to find one at a gun wrecker I have already contacted stoeger and western gun parts I’m very disappointed in the service I got from stoeger I don’t think they even tried I guess they would just sooner sell you a new gun also contacted numerous gun smiths my only hope is to find a bolt from a wrecker

Expect it to be very pricey.
My neighbour broke (don't ask- it was unbelievable) the bolt on his Tikka T3.
Cost him $550 plus one way shipping for Stoeger to replace it and they would not sell the bolt without checking headspace. Sadly, getting a bolt from Brownells was even more...

On less common actions, you would be fortunate to find a bolt at a reasonable price. Odds are, if the action is damaged, so is the bolt. And with some people choosing to store bolts separate from the rifles, they seem to get lost more than a person would expect.

I hate to say but it will be a challenge to find one. If you have an idea where it was lost it will be worth the effort to spend time looking . Even if you had to pay someone to help look.
