Default Weekend update

Well, Police Lk. went from ice covered on April 13 to almost ice free on April 18. Managed to fool a couple with a black/maroon flash leech. The previous year was a long and hard winter, and following this they only stocked 7500 in Police last year. That's a lot of lake for those trout to spread out. That said, the ones I caught were well fed.

If anyone comes across my rod that I drove away without, hopefully you enjoy it and see the potential it still has. This rod has almost 30 years of fish stories to tell. It's nothing special, more of a frankenstein combo, cheap but functional and has a lot more fish to catch.

Second trip this weekend was for some local Browns. Water is low and clear. Using an even older back up rod with full sink line and a olive BR bugger with rubber legs, some nice browns ended up in my net. Enjoy the pics.

Cheers!
