Just curious on the wind on pigeon this am early. Pretty calm in the city, but calling for lots of wind out there. Sure itching to get out.

TIA

Wind is gusting....pretty choppy. Large, cover up boat would be doable.

Try Battle lake right by Pigeon. Smaller lake with less wind ... maybe.

Well, have a 14 ft bass boat, my fat buddy isn't coming, and the kid doesn't weigh much, but looks ok early. Chilly, might throw the heater in.
Thanks for the info.

The launch pads have all been removed and it's not being replaced this year. Anything more than a small boat will be a challenge.

I heard that the water is a lot lower this year. How was it getting in the lake with no dock? Crappy I’m guessing. Good luck out there. Make sure give feedback on wind conditions as sometimes weather apps are way off. Thanks.

I watched kids play in the water this weekend 100ft off shore and the water was only to their knees.

has anyone tried to fish the small creek near ziener on the west side of the lake? It says fishing allowed on the signs and there were some guys down there?

I just really want to catch a fish this year! ha ha!
