Default Lethbridge Goose Hunting Offer

Hello AO,

My wife and I are headed out in the morning to shoot a goose field. She isn't shooting this year so she'll just be taking action photos of me tomorrow.

I have one extra blind and figured if I'm going to set up all the decoys for myself to shoot 8 birds, I may as well offer a new or novice waterfowler the chance to try it while the decoys are already up anyways.

I'm not a guide or anything like that, just a guy with an extra blind and a scouted field.

I realize we're down to the 11th hour here and it's too late to get a migratory bird permit if you don't have one already, but if there is anyone out there who already has their licences in order and shells in their pocket and would like to try their hand at waterfowling, give me a call or text right away and we'll see what we can do for the morning.

I am extremely cut and dried when it comes to the regulations, and I would like to think of myself as a very respectful and ethical hunter. If you don't fall into the same category, please save everyone a headache by ignoring this offer.

Thanks,

Mac Culling

I would love to give it a go but dont have a bird license. Shotgun. Or PAL.

Im sure i could possibly get my bird license at greens pop shop tonight still but the rest is out of reach.

Great offer and hopefully someone gets out in the field to enjoy the morning with you.

That's a really nice offer, I hope someone takes you up on your generosity. Very nice thing to do for someone.

Drop me a line sometime if you're headed around Nobleford. I have decoys, calls, and lots of permissions but little to no experience with geese and I need to learn!
