Default Pesticides and Upland Game

On Saturday I was taking the Grif for a walk and ran into a man

who was pouring cement in the neighbour hood . He not only knew what

kind of dog Griff was but said he had a Spinone . We started to talk about

hunting and pheasants , it turns out we both hunt the Patricia area .

He Said ... In the nineties some time they sprayed for grasshoppers big

time in eastern AB. and since then the Wild pheasants have been in decline . Is there any validity to this .

I have some experience with sharptail cycles in Manitoba , they went

from clouds of them to almost disappearing .. over 10 years ..

The FW guys said this was a natural course of events ...

Any news yet about chick hatches .... W101
