Any one been out on Wab ice fishing yet ? How was the ice thickness?

Thanks SamSteele. I was hoping for a more up to date thickness report. Hopefully the ice is thicker now that the reported thickness inpost #102.

P.S. Loved your unboxing and review of the StrikeMaster 40V.

Last week was pretty cold so the ice was building. I would guess it would be in the 8-10” range by now in some areas. The typical thin ice spots by the bridge would still be sketchy though.

Make sure you check as you go regardless of the ice reports. I’ve had the thickness vary quite a bit in very close proximity.

I'm sitting here at the moment...so peaceful, 1 burbot just before sunrise, 3 pike, 1 walleye. Ice is 5-6" clear under about 2" white ice
