Nosler brass prices.
Did nosler brass go up in price? Last time I picked some up it was less than 100~$/50 now they was 138$ for 50!?. What other brands are comparable for less cost. Reloading for 300wm and Before everyone get on the lapua train I checked they don’t offer it in that chambering.

Everything is going up. I don’t shoot good enough to take advantage of top tier brass. I have some Lapua, but honestly I’ve used once fired range brass and shot just as well.
Currently I’m using Hornady that I got off someone, not sure if it’s one lot, could be. Shoots better then moa out of my T3 lite pretty consistently.
If you want higher end try and find some Norma, I believe they make lots of the Nosler. More info required but I believe it’s far more important to get trigger time then to get Alpha brass.

Hornady makes excellent 300 Win Mag brass. I use it for a Wildcat I have and it’s been better than anything else I’ve tried. I just ordered some ADG, but it’s going to be north of $100 for 50.

Nosler is way overpriced. Hornady and Prvi both make good 300 WM brass for about a buck a piece.

I just ordered Winchester brass from x-reload. $60/50 I’ve tried Hornady but didn’t get the life out of it that I had got from Winchester brass before. ADG gets great reviews. Big Horn Sales sells it for $90/50. I haven’t tried it personally

I got 100 pieces of ADG for my 6.5 PRC for $150 total comes in nice plastic ammo boxes, Hornady unprimed brass for the 6.5 PRC was $168 for 100 so basically the same price give or take, but hornady comes in a bag.
I have heard that ADG brass is supposedly a bit thicker but I did not find that when I scaled them, of course I will keep them separated and see if the loads vary.
I scaled 20 pieces of new hornady 6.5 PRC brass and they were between 221gr and 223gr consistently, I then scaled 20 pieces ADG brass and they were between 222gr and 224gr constantly. I can't see where a max 3gr difference in brass would make a difference on a reload, and the consistency between both brands was only 1gr heaviest to lightest.
Anyone else scale their brass and if so what tolerances do you use when sorting.

I have never reloaded Federal brass. I have access to some 1F brass. Is the newer Federal brass any good?

I have found Federal to be the poorest quality cases of any that I have used.

I don't think any of it is terrible. I've shot plenty of Federal, never had an issue, and I like to load em warm. I've had primer pockets that were loose on 308 Norma Mag, but I got the brass used, so not sure what it was subjected to before me. If the federal is cheap or free, try it out. Heybert gave me some for my 7 Rem Mag, it's still going strong, and cost me nothing. The Tikka is shooting tight with them. I don't know how they'll stand up, but I'm not babying them.

X2 on the federal brass. For a hunting rifle it's just fine.

My son was gonna pay $112 for 25
Then he saw loaded Nosler 180g accubonds for $96
Made more sense to buy the loaded stuff.

Not interested in “hunting” brass guys Just looking for a nosler similar quality brass that isn’t 140$ for 50. I’ll buy more nosler if that’s the only way To keep my loads consistent. Was hoping to get 250 from the same lot.
