Default Where to go?

Hey guys and gals

Now, im not asking where i should go to HUNT. Im asking where you guys go to practice in the Red Deer area. I dont want to go to Red Deer Archery, since i find the prices a little high. I will go there if i need the bow tuned, but where do you all go to practice on a target? Or shoot gophers and the like... That would be good practice.

Thanks,

Jeff

Instead of spending $10/time to go shoot, I sucked it up and bought a $200 target and shoot in my backyard. If you're back yard isn't condusive to this, I'd buy one an go talk to a landowner close-by. I betchya it wouldn't take 10 minutes to find somebody to let you fling some arrows.

Default Just ask

i'd go for a drive in the country find a pasture with alot of gopher mounds then ask the landowner for permission to fling arrows and maybe help him with his gopher population you never know it could lead to more hunting ops in future

I know its a bit of a drive from RedDeer, but Carstairs has a nice outdoor shooting range. You need to be a member (I think its 70 for your ABA and range pass) Great people in the club and you can shoot whenever you want to.
