Default Problem with sights

Hey guys,

I have run into a problem with my bow. It is shooting high and left. I am not too sure how to diagnose this problem. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff.

Hi Jeff to fix this problem all you have to do is move your sight pin high and to the left . This should bring you back on track.

So what would be the case if my sight pin is already the highest it will go? could i raise my peep instead?

raise your whole sight up then work with the pins from there and to the left. in small increments then once you find the sweet spot and your pins are sighted in again... take a white out pen or something similar and mark it on the adjustment bars. So if it goes out again from screws coming loose you'll know where to put it.

raising your peep will only cause you to change your anchoring as you will have to fidget around to look through your peep as its moved up on the string.

My sight is already as high as it will go. The pins are topped out, and so is the entire sight. I dont really want to move the entire sight up a set of holes, sinced that would cause some problems.

what i did was to sight in my 20 yard pin i would move the whole sight case with the 20 pin right about in the middle of the case then after that you can work on the elevation of your other pins for your different ranges. Hope that helps!

Me thinks moving your peep up will make you shoot even higher. To look through your peep, do you have to tilt your head down or are you fairly straight in the neck when you shoot..........

you know what.

Take it to a pro shop.

You could figit with it till its better and you might actually be no better off. You could make it work or a pro could make it work right.

Learned this the hard way.

Lowering a peep sight will lower the POI of the arrow, same as a rifle.

However, as was stated, if the sights and bow are tight, and the bow was zeroed before, it is NOT an equipment thing , but a form thing.
Somehwere along the way you started doing something different, and yor form changed the POI of the group - not that know anything about wheels and such anymore, but when I coached archers this was the case, and some things do not change!
