Default fish creek

Guys/Gals.

I am trying to find info on fish creek for fishing in the regulations book but can't seem to find any info regarding fish creek specifically.
I see Bow river and know that fish creek flows into the Bow river so does it fall under as a tributary of bow river. If so why don't the regs book list it as a tributary of bow river? or does Fish creek fall under default regs.

http://albertaregulations.ca/fishingregs/es1.html

^^^^this is the link I refer to does fish creek fall under the default regulations?

thanks, just looking to get out on a smaller river and learn before jumping up to the bow river.

A long time ago I remember they used to list Fish Creek separately but it has disappeared off the regulations and the new regulations for the Bow River specifically does NOT mention tributaries so technically it falls under the general ES1 regulations.

I have a feeling that might have been an oversight but the "includes tributaries" portion was removed starting in the 2017 regulations so they've had 3 years to correct it if it was wrong....

Default Fish Creek

I am betting on this but a call would not hurt .......
Smaller streams may not be listed, but may be included as tributaries to a listed larger stream.

I talked to a fish cop and they said it falls under provincial park regs. Don’t know what that means as I haven’t found any regs fro provincial parks

Found this on a site:

Alberta sportfishing regulations apply in Alberta Provincial Parks, but not in National Parks.

To fish in a provincial park, you need an Alberta sportfishing licence.
